Welcome
A warm welcome to us at Il Tempo. We have been on the corner of Högbergsgatan/Repslagargatan for over 30 years and love our neighbourhood here on Södermalm. The inspiration for Il Tempo comes from the Little Italy of the 80s and 90s and the classic restaurant Gino’s. This is our take on rustic Italian cooking – via New York.
We have a large collection of Italian wines, of course knead the pasta fresh daily on site, and bake our Roman pizzas in the wood-fired oven in the middle of the restaurant.
Everyone is welcome here, whether just for a glass of franciacorta and antipasti at the bar, or a long dinner with family and friends. Feel free to book a table, but the bar is always open for drop-ins – and that is where we also welcome dogs!

We offer Italian gastronomy with classic flavors, carefully selected ingredients, and a timeless atmosphere inspired by old New York.
Our wine list features a carefully curated selection of Italian wines, and with our extensive experience, we are happy to help you find the perfect pairing for your meal.
Every day, we make our pasta from scratch in our kitchen, and our Roman-style pizzas are baked in the wood-fired oven that stands proudly at the heart of the restaurant.

Large groups
Are you planning a birthday celebration, surprise dinner, anniversary, corporate event, or another occasion worth celebrating? We offer both the option to exclusively book the entire restaurant and a private dining room accommodating 8–12 guests for a more intimate experience.
We welcome both private parties and corporate groups and would be delighted to help create a memorable occasion.
